From Duluth, MN - Follow HWY 61 to the Pigeon River Border Crossing.
From Pigeon River Follow HWY 61 to Thunder Bay, Ontario.
From Thunder Bay Follow HWY 11/17 East “straight through”.
bypassing Thunder Bay, Ontario.
HWY 61 blends into HWY 11/17.
Follow HWY 11/17 to HWY 527 junction, turn left toward Armstrong.
HWY 527 approx: 2 miles past the “Terry Fox Scenic Lookout”. Signs Posted.
Follow HWY 527 North for 145 miles to our base.
Northern Outposts base is visible from  HWY 527. “West Side” of highway “Left”. 4 miles south of Armstrong, Ontario.
Driving Time: Thunder Bay to Armstrong approx: 2 ½ hours.
