AIRCRAFT CHARTERS

Northern Outposts charters only the best aircraft the far north has to offer. The mighty Turbo Otter and the dependable De Havilland Beaver are our main choice of aircraft. We have excellent arrangements with our local Charter Companies to ensure quality service, equipment and excellent flight times.

Service Aircraft
Northern Outposts owns and operates its own Service Aircraft. C-FETX is a Cessna we utilize for camp maintenance and check-ins. If you see the Blue & White Cessna - service has arrived.

Weight Restrictions
We limit our guests to 100 lbs of gear each upon arrival in Armstrong. We will pre-fly an additional 50 lbs each at no extra cost. This 50 lbs of pre-ordered items may include: Beer / Soda / Water / Potatoes / Fish Oil etc. Total weight 150 lbs of gear each...when utilizing pre-flight option. Any extra gear will be flown up at our earliest convenience.

Armstrong Airport
Looking to fly up your own aircraft? Not a problem. Armstrong has a 4500 ft paved runway for personal charters. Northern Outposts will supply "tie downs" for all aircraft. Sorry, no airplane fuel available at the Airport, be sure to fuel your aircraft in Thunder Bay, Ontario.
